Are there any restrictions on when the course can be taken?
Once the course has been purchased and access to the course has been provided it can be carried out at any time. However, the link to access the course can only be provided during office hours (Mon-Fri, 9-5).
Can I retake the course again if I don't pass?
Yes. If you don’t meet the pass requirements for the course the first time you can retake the course as many times as you need in order to pass. There are no additional costs for doing this.
How long does the course take to complete?
This depends on the person taking the course but normally takes between 1 and 2 hours to complete.
If I leave the course part way through will I lose my progress?
No. If you leave the course part way through you can return and continue your progress from the same position.
Is the course certified by any independent bodies?
Yes. Our training courses have been assessed and certified by the Continual Professional Development (CPD) accreditation body as conforming to continuing professional development principles.
Is there a discount available for multiple bookings?
Depending on the number of courses being taken and number of people carrying out the course a discount maybe available. Please contact us for further details on discounts.
Is there an expiry time for the course?
Trainees are initially given 2 weeks to carry out the course after purchase before it expires. However, this can be extended upon request.
Once I start the course is there a time limit in which it must be completed?
No. Trainees can complete the course at their own pace and do not have a time limit in which they must finish the course.
When will I receive my certificate?
We normally issue certificates via email within 2 working days of the course being completed.
Will my certificate be accepted by organisations such as CHAS, Safe Contractor etc?
Yes. Our certificates can be used and are accepted by accreditation bodies such as CHAS.
What are the minimum system requirements?
To access our training in a web browser, the minimum system requirements are below: Operating System: Mac 10.5 or higher Windows XP, Vista, Win7, or Win8 Internet Connection: Cable/DSL or faster Browser: Firefox 3.6+ Chrome Internet Explorer 9+ Safari 5+ Adobe Flash Player 10 . On an iPad, trainees can use an app available in the iTunes store to take courses.
