CDM Co-ordinator

CDM regulations (2007), place legal duties on virtually everyone involved in construction work. A CDM co-ordinator has to be appointed to advise clients on projects that last more than 30 days or involve more than 500 person days of construction work.

CDM Co-ordinator Service

By appointing one of our fully qualified CDM co-ordinators you will be fulfilling your obligatons under the CDM regulations (2007). This service covers the following aspects:

CDM Principal/Main Contractor Service

A principle contractor is required where a project is notifiable. By using one of our fully qualified consultants as a principal contractor, we will plan, manage and co-ordinate the health and safety on a project while the construction work is being carried out.

  • Planning - We manage the construction phase in liaison with the contractor.
  • Competency - All appointees are checked for competency.
  • Training - All workers to have a site induction and training where required.
  • Communication - We will liaise with the client, designer & contractor.

  • Documents - Written plan and site rules prepared prior to work commencing.
  • Safety - Development of method statements & risk assessments.
